Esports Bets have placed Max Verstappen as the 13/8 favourite for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, with the Dutchman expected to cut into Lando Norris’ commanding lead in the 2025 Formula 1 Drivers’ World Championship.
Norris remains the short 1/8 favourite for the title, but the sportsbook warns that a major points swing in Las Vegas could shift the picture. The McLaren driver is 2/1 to win the race, a result that would take him to the brink of his first World Championship.
George Russell is priced at 9/2 for the win, while Oscar Piastri sits at 8/1. Piastri is viewed as Norris’ main title rival at 11/2, although the Australian faces a tall order to cut the deficit this weekend. Andrea Kimi Antonelli is rated at 9 to 1, with Ferrari pair Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton at 18/1 and 33/1.
Esports Bets spokesperson Darragh Harbinson said: “Despite Lando Norris’ commanding advantage in the Drivers’ Championship and his short price of 1/8 in the betting to lift his first title, Max Verstappen is the 13/8 favourite for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, with Norris himself 2 to 1 to win the race.”
He added: “The Dutchman trails by 49 points in the title race and is priced at 10/1 for the Championship but is fancied to close the gap in the USA this weekend. George Russell will not be winning the title this year but is 9/2 to notch his third race win of the season.”
Harbinson pointed out: “Lando’s teammate Oscar Piastri is undoubtedly his main rival for the title at 11/2 but is given a tall order to cut the deficit this weekend. He is 8/1 to win around the Las Vegas Street Circuit. Kimi Antonelli is slightly behind for the win at 9/1, while Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton are 18/1 and 33/ 1, respectively.”
With only a handful of rounds remaining, the odds underline the stakes as Verstappen attempts to keep the title fight alive heading into the final stretch of the season.
