Lance Stroll

Lance Stroll will be on the grid for January’s Daytona 24 Hours, joining Fernando Alonso at the iconic endurance race in Florida where he will be part of Jackie Chan DC Racing effort.

The Williams driver will share the cockpit of the team’s Oreca 07 LMP2 car with Felix Rosenqvist, Robin Frijns and Daniel Juncadella.

Stroll’s teammates are all highly rated. Rosenqvist a European Formula 3 champion and Formula E front-runner, Robin Frijns a Blancpain GT3 champion and Juncadella also a European Formula 3 champion and DTM regular.

Stroll previously contested the Daytona 24 hours last year, where he made his sportscar debut driving a Ford EcoBoost Riley DP with Brendon Hartley, Andy Priaulx and Alex Wurz.

Stroll did a total of seven hours in the cockpit in the race, leading the race at one stage.

The team were denied a podium when overheating plagued their car in the late stages of the race, in the end finishing fifth.
