It would be fair to say that it has taken British driving legend Lewis Hamilton a little bit of time to get used to being at Ferrari, but at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, where the seven-time F1 World Champion finished in a respectable fourth place, is proof that the 40-year-old is beginning to get the most out of his car.

It was always going to be a tall order for Hamilton to really challenge in a Ferrari, not least because the team has not seen a driver win a title since 2007, but there’s no denying the class of their new arrival, and one can expect bigger and better things before the season is out.
Lewis Hamilton fans who want to bet on the iconic superstar Formula One driver can do so with the help of this magnificent BetMGM promo, as doing so would make any potential payout even sweeter.
Hamilton’s seventh F1 title, the one that saw him join Michael Schumacher at the top of the most-won F1 Championships table, came way back in 2020, and his last two seasons with Mercedes proved ineffective.
Indeed, in 2022 and 2023, he failed to win a single race, though he did manage to secure two race wins in 2024, albeit finishing the season in a disappointing seventh position, his worst finish in 17 years in the sport.
Therefore, the chance to start afresh at Ferrari would have proven very enticing, and so it proved, with Hamilton signing a multi-year agreement with the revered team.

Hamilton: I think there is more to come

Hamilton hails Imola driver as better than China Sprint win
After his fourth-place finish at Emilia-Romagna, Lewis Hamilton was full of confidence about what the future may bring, commenting enthusiastically: "I did think we would make an improvement this weekend with something I've fixed. And I think there is more to come,
"The set-up was really good, the car felt really mega and the team did a fantastic job on strategy and pit stops. It was a lot of pressure on us with struggling through the year with the car so far, and particularly with our qualifying.”
"I don't remember the last time I had a race like that moving forwards. I'm sure there was one last year but this was different because I'm in the red car. To finally have that connection, that synergy with the car, was a really great feeling.
"It was quite an incredible experience to think that I'm now here in one of the two Ferraris and having that connection with them. It is such a large passion for me, it's unbelievable." Hamilton added.
In the overall standings, Hamilton still finds himself 93 points off leader, Oscar Piastri, though in all honesty, he would not be aiming as high as a potential eighth world title, at least, not this time around.
In many ways it’s more likely that both Hamilton and Ferrari are planning for a season of transition, helping the team to build themselves back up ahead of another push for greatness.
