Inevitably my thoughts turn to Formula 1 when anything that involves money and technology. What does Musk make of Formula 1? Would he consider buying a team? His worth right now according to Forbes is a staggering $433.9-billion.
Tesla is the totally wrong brand for F1, the antithesis, one could argue, but the SpaceX GP Team makes a great deal of sense. If Musk's brilliance were in the spotlight as a Formula 1 World Championship team owner backed by his space and rocket brand, he could prove how brilliant he really is. Or isn't? Truth is, at the highest level of motorsport, there is nowhere to hide.
