The FIA communicated to Pirelli each team’s tyre choices for the forthcoming Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka on the weekend of 7 to 9 October 2016.
Pirelli options are hard, medium and soft. Mercedes and Ferrari have split the hard and medium allocations between their drivers, while Mercedes opted for eight of the softest compounds and Ferrari choosing nine sets of softs.
Sebastian Vettel is the only driver to select one set of medium tyres.
The Red Bull duo have gone conservative with four hard, three medium and six soft tyres.
