Ferrari are set to produce a series of special edition cars to commemorate the company's 70th anniversary, of which 'The Schumacher' is likely to take be the pride of the bunch.
Ferrari celebrate seven decades as a motor manufacturer next year. Auto Bild reports that Ferrari, on the occasion of this milestone, will build 350 special edition cars - 70 from each of the five current series - all personalised.
'The Schumacher' - in honour of Michael Schumacher who is Ferrari and Formula 1's most succesful driver ever - will be a red Ferrari 488 GTB, of which 70 will be built.
Although Enzo Ferrari' company built their first car in 1940, the company's inception as an motor manufacturer is usually recognized in 1947, when the first Ferrari-badged car was produced.
Schumacher won five Formula 1 world titles for the Italian team, spearheading their most successful era at te pinnacle of the sport.
