A blockbuster film based on this year's Formula 1 season would have narrative twists, collisions, and intense wheel-to-wheel action that would make your heart race faster than a qualifying lap, with the underdog emerging victorious in a high-stakes finale!

We're talking about Norris narrowly defeating Verstappen by two points in the Formula 1 Drivers Championship in Abu Dhabi, with Piastri coming in third. McLaren dominated like a papaya colored avalanche, landing on the double podium and winning the Constructors' Championship.
However, instead of jumping ahead to the dramatic conclusion, let's use this page as a quick reference for the entire season.

McLaren: Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri

The cool headed Australian who has amassed victories like souvenirs finished third with 410 points, while the cheeky Brit with an affinity for pole positions triumphed with an incredible 423 points. Together, they earned 833 Constructors' points, demonstrating that papaya power is more than just a color, it's a mindset. Because of their (usually) flawless coordination, intra team conflict was kept to a minimal, allowing them the focus required to outperform the competition.

Red Bull: Max Verstappen and Liam Lawson

Verstappen, the reigning champion of four prior championships, did not go unnoticed as he won eight games and finished second overall with 421 points. Red Bull's aero genius kept them in the hunt, while McLaren's speed and dependability gremlins forced them to halt their previous championship winning run. In any case, Verstappen's abilities and qualifying performances are unquestionably excellent, poetry on wheels, if you will.

Ferrari: Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton

A striking combination in the classic Ferrari red that produced somewhat inconsistent outcomes. Leclerc scored 242 points with flawless Monegasque accuracy. In his scarlet debut, Sir Lewis may have adjusted like a pro, but he was only able to score 156 points. They had to settle for a disappointing fifth place in Constructors' their SF-25 soared down straightaways but was a little unsteady in turns. In any case, fans had TV gold to savour thanks to their charm and charisma, which was evident in every red tinted pixel, whether it was through Hamilton's radio tirades or Leclerc's exploits on the final lap.

Mercedes: George Russell and Kimi Antonelli

Russell, often known as Mr. Consistent, gathered 319 driver points and a few strong victories. Antonelli, on the other hand, was an Italian prodigy wonder who made Toto Wolf smile from ear to ear when he emerged with 150 points alongside podium places. Mercedes finished second in the Constructors with 469 points thanks to these fortunate drivers' W16 silver arrow and hard earned skill. During Antonelli's debut season, there were a lot of fireworks as raw talent and German engineering collided.

Aston Martin: Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll

In the AMR25, Alonso earned 89 team points and 56 driver standing points. Despite Stroll's good wingman role, a mid pack shuffle meant that strategy may have been prioritised over competitiveness. Alonso's unwavering fire and drive may be admirable, but last place in the driver standings is not where you want to be…

Williams: Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz

Sainz's slick aggressiveness and Albon's tire whispering talents propelled Williams to a pleasantly surprise fifth place in the team standings with 137 points. With the Ferrari days behind him, Sainz was able to adjust with ease and managed 64 points while scoring important podium finishes with enthusiasm. At 73, Albon scored somewhat higher. We all hoped for a comeback story, and this pair, who were backmarkers and midfield maestros, did wonders for Williams.

Alpine: Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto

Although Colapinto began the year as a reserve driver, he was promoted to a race seat after six rounds, replacing Jack Doohan at the Imola GP in mid may (initially on a five race basis) effectively taking over the seat. Despite occasional flashes of sparkle, the Renault powered vehicle finished last in the team standings with a disappointing 22 points this season due to a lack of consistent performance.

Haas: Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman

Although the British rookie Bearman and the seasoned Ocon were able to get enough power out of their Ferrari engines to take a swing at the midfield apple (particularly in qualifying), they ultimately managed 79 team points. Esteban Ocon demonstrated the veteran's minor advantage in consistency and pace in both qualifying and race circumstances by outqualifying Bearman eight times to Bearman's six, and finishing ahead in races nine times to Bearman's five.

(Stake) Kick Sauber: Gabriel Bortoleto and Niko Hulkenberg

Since low points frequently equate to high learning curves, this team's pre 2026 warm up focused more on data than dazzle necessarily. Hulkenberg anchored the C45 with German precision, producing reliable point finishes and even a notable podium at Silverstone. With 70 total Constructor's points, they placed ninth.

Racing Bulls: Isack Hadjar and Yuki Tsunoda

Yuki Tsunoda and youngster Isack Hadjar drove the team's VCARB-02 chassis, powered by a Honda RBPT engine. Hadjar's outstanding results, which included finishing on the podium at the Dutch Grand Prix, highlighted his stellar rookie campaign and made a substantial contribution to the team's comeback. With 92 points and a sixth place ranking, this genuine effort provided them a strong midfield position.
