Although he has yet to confirm his plans beyond 2016, Sergio Perez is praising Force India in the media and thus suggesting that a decision about his future is on the cards, perhaps even ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix weekend.
Perez said in an interview, "We have very good people. There are no politics in the team so people are allowed to do their job.
"It makes a massive difference in the environment of the team. Everyone is working to be better as a team and that is a key to it."
"It is important to have a good structure with good people and we have very key people in each role, who do their job properly. That makes a massive difference in the team, having good team bosses."
The Force India VJM09 was not a plug-and-play success, but the team and drivers established the weak areas which needed improving.
Thereafter they diligently set out to sort the issues, the hard work has resulted in a handy piece of kit which has seen the team challenge Williams for fourth in the F1 constructors' championship.
"We knew we had a competitive car. We focused so much on weak areas of the car early in the year and that has helped us massively," explained the Mexican who has two podium finishes to his credit so far this season.
