Mar.8 (PVM) Organisers of the 2012 Australian Grand Prix have announced that an additional grandstand will be built to meet the continued strong demand for tickets for the race in Melbourne.
“Due to an overwhelming response, existing grandstands are almost at capacity and we are excited to announce that we will build another stand at Turn 1,” said Andrew Westacott, CEO of the Australian Grand Prix Corporation.
"With less than two weeks until the country’s premier international motorsport event kicks off, Australians are supporting the sport like never before,” he said.
The Moss Grandstand, located in a prime position between the pit lane exit and Turn 1, will add a further 844 grandstand seats and provide patrons with some of the best views of the circuit. For only $310, fans can enjoy four days of action from this great vantage point.
