The Visa Cash App Racing Bulls Formula 1 team announced that Dan Fallows will join them as Technical Director.
The announcement comes after the team launched their 2026 F1 car, the VCARB 03, and ahead of the private test, which will be held in Barcelona between January 26 and 30.
The team said in a statement on Friday: "VCARB is pleased to confirm the appointment of Dan Fallows as Technical Director, strengthening the team’s technical leadership as it continues to build for the future.
"Reporting into Chief Technical Officer, Tim Goss, Dan will take responsibility for the overall technical direction of the team, working across design, aerodynamics and performance.
"With extensive experience in Formula One and a strong background in car development, Dan’s arrival in April represents another important step in the team’s technical evolution," the statement added.
Fallows arrives at Racing Bulls after a stint as technical director at Aston Martin, which started after coming from Red Bull Racing in 2022
after a legal battle between the Silverstone and the Milton Keynes squads.
His departure from Aston Martin
was announced back in November of 2024, shortly after Adrian Newey joined in September of that year as Technical Managing Partner.
Fallows commented on his new job saying: “I’m very pleased to be joining VCARB at an exciting time for the team.
"There is a clear vision and strong technical ambition, and I’m looking forward to working closely with Tim and the wider engineering group to help drive performance and continue building the team for the future," he added.
Racing Bulls Team Principal Alan Permane added: “Dan has a wealth of experience, and his technical understanding and leadership will be a real asset to the team as we continue to develop and push forward competitively.
"We’re delighted to welcome him to VCARB," Permane concluded.
