Cadillac has marked its first home race in Formula 1 with the launch of a limited edition CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series, with just 26 units to be produced.
The ultra exclusive model has been revealed on the eve of the
Miami Grand Prix, linking directly to the brand’s entry onto the Formula 1 grid in 2026 and positioning the car as a flagship expression of its V-Series performance line.
Mark Reuss, President of General Motors, said: “The CT5-V Blackwing embodies the very best of Cadillac track-capable performance. With the F1 Collector Series, we're channeling the energy and innovation of Formula 1 into a road-ready sedan that feels every bit as special as our entry into the sport.
“Each of the 26 vehicles is curated to be a centerpiece in any collection and a true celebration of Cadillac's new era in
Formula 1.”
The Collector Series has been developed in collaboration with Formula 1 and the FIA, featuring extensive branding integration across the car, including F1 and FIA logos on the bodywork, interior components and even the supercharger cover.
Finished in Midnight Stone Frost, the car mirrors the Cadillac Formula 1 team identity with Carbon Flash Metallic wheels, Harbor Gray brake calipers and carbon fibre bodywork accented by a Switchblade Silver pinstripe.
Further detailing includes embossed and laser etched branding, as well as a Builder’s Badge with unique serialisation for each unit, reinforcing its collector focused positioning.
The interior and exterior follow a monochromatic design theme, while multiple F1 themed elements have been incorporated through advanced manufacturing techniques, including 3D printing and CNC machining.
Under the hood, the model is powered by a 6.2 litre supercharged V8 producing 685 horsepower and 673 lb ft of torque, making it the most powerful Blackwing ever produced.
The upgraded supercharger has been developed in collaboration with GM Motorsports, with each unit featuring a CNC machined supercharger cover.
The car is offered exclusively with a 6 speed manual transmission and includes the Precision Package as standard, underlining its focus on driver engagement and track capable performance.
Production of the CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series is set to begin in mid 2026, with availability limited to the United States and Canada, aligning with Cadillac’s push to establish its identity in Formula 1 through both competition and road going performance.
