Barcelona confirms 2017 test dates

Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya management have confirmed that 2017 Formula 1 pre-season testing will run over two separate four-day stanzas at the venue.

The first test is scheduled from 27 February to 2 March, and a the second stint from 7-10 March.

Although Bahrain was favoured as a winter test option by some teams, the idea was scrapped and instead the island kingdom will host an in-season test instead.

Barcelona circuit management have now confirmed that the Spanish Grand Prix venue will be the only track hosting next year’s F1 winter tests.
