Alonso slams gossip about his private life

Feb.11 (Ferrari) Fernando Alonso has gone on the offensive regarding reports and gossip of a new love interest in his life, since he announced his divorce from Spanish pop star Raquel de Rosario in December.

Alonso has reportedly been romancing 24 year old model Tschumitschewa Xenia, who is Swiss of Russian origin, and had posted a photo of herself on Twitter showing her in the inner sanctum of the Ferrari pit garage, where access is only for VIPs.

Furthermore, photos of the double Formula 1 world champion and Xenia at a concert and at a Ferrari function have been doing the rounds on the web.

"I was on holiday in Rome and in Asia with some friends and anyway it’s easy to do cut and paste with photos,” explained Alonso.

"What is certain is the day that I have a girlfriend, my true friends and my family will definitely not be posting photos on the internet. A word is enough to the wise..." added the Spaniard.
