Alpine will unveil their first Formula 1 car, the A521, on March 2 with a virtual launch event.

Having switched from Renault branding to sister brand Alpine over the off-season, the team confirmed that the A521 will be officially launched next month after releasing a testing livery in January.

Esteban Ocon is joined by Fernando Alonso as a teammate for the 2021 season, with the Spaniard having recently been discharged from hospital following a cycling accident.

Alonso won his two world championships with the Enstone team, 2005 and 2006, and returns to F1 after two years away.

Mercedes will also unveil their 2021 challenger, the W12 E Performance, on March 2, with Aston Martin confirming their car will be launched a day later.
