Lance Stroll would be forgiven wishing his time away with Williams as he struggles with the worst Formula 1 car built by the once mighty team, the Canadian once again deeming the car undrivable, this time during the first practice session of the Russian Grand Prix weekend.
Stroll had a troubled FP1 in Sochi, ending the morning slowest of all, a massive 4.5 seconds shy of Sebastian Vettel's timesheet-topping time and 1.9 seconds down on rookie teammate Sergey Sirtokin.
About an hour into the 90-minute session, Stroll spun out in Turn 8 and declared over the team radio: "I need to box, it is undrivable!"
It's not the first time (and surely no the last) that we have heard a frustrated call from the #18 cockpit this season.
During the session it was not much better for Sirotkin in the sister car, the Russian complaining, "Anything I can do for the front left, it is pulling along to one side when I am braking?"
Williams and their drivers have been on the back foot since it was discovered in testing that Paddy Lowe and his team produced a car described as "evil" by team chief Claire Williams.
Since then they clearly have not got closer to understanding the problems with the FW41 let alone resolving them, while their inexperienced drivers struggle haplessly for confidence.
19-year-old Stroll is sure to leave the team and join Force India which has been bought by Racing Point, a consortium led by his billionaire father Lawrence Stroll.
Sirotkin is expected to remain with the Grove outfit through the backing of SMP Racing.
