Perhaps to keep the precocious young driver Lando Norris entertained, McLaren have launched what they describe as a "track-focused electrified model for the junior racing driver" the Mclaren Senna Ride-On.
Of course, poster-boy for the campaign is baby-faced Lando who has been the shooting star of recent seasons, winning hearts and minds of F1 fans across the board with his antics off-track, coupled to his prodigious talent on it.
The kid-car is a fancy piece toy according to the press kit, "The
McLaren Senna 12V Kids Electric Ride On Car
is available in five authentic and eye-catching McLaren paint colours: black, white, Mira orange, Vega blue and Memphis red.
"A sixth, special edition colour – exclusive to McLaren retailers - of yellow with green accents echoes the colours of Ayrton’s race helmet for the most serious of budding racing drivers.
"The McLaren Senna Ride-On is aimed at three to six-year-olds, although McLaren’s own Formula 1 driver
Lando Norris did manage to squeeze in the car and take it for a test drive, just to check he was happy with the way it drove."
Clearly a must have toy for little rich kids as they mark time towards owning the real deal probably by the time they are old enough to get a license, begging the question: How about a good old-fashioned pedal version for the poorer kids on the block?
