One of the biggest talking points in the wake of an incident-packed Azerbaijan Grand Prix was the collision that eliminated both Red Bull drivers Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo as they battled for fourth position.
In the aftermath of the race at Baku, both drivers accepted they were out of line and apologised to the team as well as to one another.
Nevertheless, Red Bull consultant Helmut Marko warned both drivers, "If there is another collision between them we will implement team orders, although we are actually against that type of thing."
Verstappen has been in the wars this year, involved in a number of incidents that have compromised his campaign during the first four races of the season.
Marko said of the young Dutchman, "We hired Max for his speed and aggression. Therefore there are times when we have to live with the fact that sometimes feathers fly."
"He wants too much and puts himself under too much pressure. He has to learn to be able to give in sometimes. Especially now, because of the frequency of incidents."
"It's hard for him, but he realises it and, by the way, it was at times the same with Sebastian in the past. I can see the parallels. Max now knows that no matter what happens in the next incident, whether his fault or not, he will be responsible."
"As a team, we also need the points. So next time he has to think about things even more and when in a situation in which he could collide then he must give in," added Marko
