Haas gave their actual 2023 Formula 1 car its first run at Silverstone, Kyle.Engineers got a chance to analyze the new VF-23.
Haas were the first team to have a 2023 F1 season launch event on January 31, but it was only a livery launch while the real VF-23 was kept hidden, which meant any aerodynamic analysis of the U.S. outfit's new car was not possible.
Until now, as after
Haas took their VF-23, the real one, to Silverstone for a shakedown on February 11, the details of the car's design have been revealed making this video by Kyle.Engineers possible.
Haas have a new Title sponsor for 2023 in the form of MoneyGram whose branding was prominent on the bodywork of the VF-23.
The team also have a revised driver lineup with Nico Hulkenberg replacing Mick Schumacher at the team, while Kevin Magnussen, who gave the team their first ever F1 pole at the 2022 Sao Paulo Grand Prix remains in the other car.
Haas finished the 2022 F1 season eighth in the Constructors' Standings, an improvement from their tenth place in 2021, and will be looking to build on that momentum in 2023.
