The real Haas VF-23 breaks cover

After launching their livery for the 2023 Formula 1 season in January, Haas revealed the real VF-23 today ahead of its first run at Silverstone.

A little under two weeks after their 2023 livery launch, Haas published a photo of their actual 2023 F1 car, the VF-23 at their factory surrounded by both drivers Nico Hulkenberg and Kevin Magnussen, as well as their factory staff who gathered around their new car and team boss Guenther Steiner.

After that, the U.S. outfit shared a video on social media of the VF-23 being given its first run at the Silverstone track that is in close proximity to the team’s U.K. headquarters in Banbury.

From the video, it seems that the car has the number 27 on the nose on it, which means Hulkenberg was the first of the team’s drivers to take it for a ride.

After the shakedown run, Haas will head to Bahrain for pre-season testing between February 23 and 25, with the 2023 season opener set to take place a week place at the same desert venue.
