Formula 1 is increasingly outpricing itself from the layman that used to be able to afford to spend a weekend at a Grand Prix, with family and mates, but these days anything under 2,500 bucks is a bargain if you are based in the UK or Europe.
A study reveals that Formula 1 fans are forking out over £2,312 for a ticket to this weekend's
British Grand Prix at Silverstone, while not the most expensive but also not cheapest compare to other races on the calendar.
The team at Slingo have looked at flight prices, as well as accommodation costs and the cost of a three-day ticket for 2023’s racing season, to establish which are the most expensive and the cheapest F1 destinations of the year.

Slingo deduces from the numbers that the British GP this weekend is among the top ten most expensive Formula 1 destination, with the average price of a ticket, hotel and flights costing on average £2,560.

The Suzuka International Racing Course in Japan is the most expensive Formula 1 destination for UK and euro fans. Located in Japan, the average price of a ticket, a hotel and flights costs approximately £4,899 in total.
Second in the list is the Circuit of Americas, situated in Texas. Following closely behind Japan, this destination costs an average of £4,423 for a race ticket, hotel and flights.
The Singapore Circuit, located in the Marina Bay area, comes in third place. Located in one of the most luxurious destinations in Singapore, the full cost of a ticket, hotel and flights costs an average of £3,788.

- The most affordable Formula 1 ticket on our list is the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. With a capacity of 140,700, this all-rounder circuit costs just £353 ($413) on average for the three-day ticket price.
- You can purchase the cheapest F1 VIP experience in Austria at the Red Bull Ring - Spielberg, where the average VIP ticket price is £1,608 ($1,881).
- While you can find the most expensive VIP experience at the Losail International Circuit, where you can have a top-tier VIP treatment for a whopping £7,329 ($8,575).
