TGR Haas F1 Team will attend CarFest 2026 as the festival moves to Silverstone Circuit for the first time.
The
Formula 1 team will activate throughout the August Bank Holiday weekend, running from August 28-30. Haas will be the only F1 operation represented at the event.
Its appearance forms part of the team’s fan-focused “Haas+ Fans First” initiative. Team Principal Ayao Komatsu will also take part in the programme.
Haas will operate a dedicated retail unit at
Silverstone, featuring its latest team merchandise and driver clothing.
The recently launched Godzilla collection will also be available during the three-day festival. However, the main attraction for many supporters will be the team’s VF-22 show car.
Fans will be able to view the Formula 1 machine closely throughout the weekend. It gives visitors access to machinery normally seen behind barriers at Grand Prix events.
Komatsu will appear on the StarFest stage on Sunday, August 30. His appearance will add a current Formula 1 voice to CarFest’s wider entertainment programme.
“We’re naturally delighted to be supporting CarFest as the festival makes its Silverstone debut hot on the heels of another amazing grand prix there,” Komatsu said.
He added: “It’s a fantastic celebration of motorsport and automotive passion, fused with a brilliant charitable element too.”
CarFest was founded by British radio presenter Chris Evans and combines motoring displays with food, drink and live music.
The event also raises money for children’s charities through its wider fundraising programme. Organisers expect approximately 115,000 people to attend across the weekend.
Its 2026 edition will be the first staged at Silverstone, the home of the British Grand Prix. That move places the festival directly inside one of Britain’s most recognisable motorsport venues.
Haas said its involvement also supports the team’s environmental, social and governance commitments. The team wants to combine fan engagement with support for CarFest’s charitable work.
“We’re always welcoming ways to engage with fans and our participation in CarFest is another first for us as a team,” Komatsu continued.
“I’m personally looking forward to being there and seeing it for myself too, it’s going to be a fun weekend.”
The CarFest appearance gives Haas another opportunity to connect with supporters away from a conventional Formula 1 weekend.
Its presence will centre on the VF-22, merchandise displays and Komatsu’s stage appearance. The team will also benefit from being CarFest’s only Formula 1 participant.
For Silverstone, the event brings another major motorsport gathering shortly after hosting the British Grand Prix.
For Haas, it offers direct access to a large family audience while supporting the festival’s fundraising mission. The team’s first CarFest appearance will therefore combine Formula 1 access, fan engagement and charitable activity.
