Amsterdam will host the next stop of the award-winning Formula 1 Exhibition, with the immersive motorsport showcase set to open its doors on April 17, 2025, at the city’s historic De Kromhouthal venue, organizers announced this week.

The Formula 1 Exhibition, which celebrates the Netherlands’ rich motorsport heritage, will feature dedicated displays honoring the country’s contributions to the sport since its inception in 1950. Seventeen Dutch drivers have competed in Formula 1, including four-time world champion Max Verstappen, whose recent dominance has fueled a surge in the sport’s popularity in the Netherlands, driven by the fervent support of the "Orange Army."
Following a successful run in London—where it earned the "Best Visitor Experience" award at The Access All Areas Awards—and a recent stop in Buenos Aires, Amsterdam marks the sixth city to host the exhibition. The show will include contributions from F1 teams, drivers, and personalities, alongside interactive installations, cutting-edge racing simulators, and exclusive content designed to immerse fans in the world of Formula 1.

Once Upon A Time in Formula 1

The exhibition’s journey begins with "Once Upon A Time In Formula 1," offering rare photography, historic cars, and artifacts that chronicle the sport’s most iconic moments. "Design Lab" provides a behind-the-scenes look at how F1 teams craft their cutting-edge cars, while "Drivers & Duels" pays tribute to legendary racers and races over the past 75 years.
A gripping section titled "Survival" recounts former driver Romain Grosjean’s harrowing 150 mph crash in Bahrain in 2020 and his miraculous escape from the wreckage. The experience culminates in "The Pit Wall," a cinematic finale that lets visitors relive Formula 1’s greatest triumphs.
Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer at Formula 1, hailed the event as a celebration of Dutch motorsport. “We are delighted to bring F1 Exhibition to the Netherlands, a country that has been at the center of Formula 1 in recent years and has a long and proud history in our sport,” she said.
