The opening round of the 2025 season in Bahrain set the tone for what was to come. Oscar Piastri started the year in incredible fashion, converting his pole position into a calm, calculated victory that hinted at a potential title challenge. McLaren’s performance was a statement of intent, not only from Piastri but from Lando Norris, who secured a strong podium to showcase the team’s progress.
What made Bahrain such a gripping race was how close the front-runners were throughout its duration. George Russell’s Mercedes and Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari both looked capable of winning, while Max Verstappen’s early struggles created an air of unpredictability compared to previous seasons. Strategic gambles on tyre types added another layer of drama.
Some drivers pitted early to undercut rivals, while others stretched their stints, hoping for a safety car that never came. By the final few laps, the top four were separated by less than six seconds, and McLaren’s return to winning ways provided a fitting conclusion to a thrilling season opener.

The Jeddah Corniche Circuit rarely disappoints, and 2025 was no exception to this. High-speed corners and razor-thin margins created a thrilling race that saw Oscar Piastri claim his second consecutive win, though this one required every ounce of his patience and precision. An early safety car threw previous strategies into the air, with several teams gambling on early tyre changes.
Further back, Fernando Alonso showed his enduring class with a charge through the midfield, while Max Verstappen’s recovery drive after a penalty provided some of the best racing of the season.
The final laps were a tense duel between Piastri and George Russell, with the McLaren man holding on by just over a second. The sight of cars brushing walls at 200mph under the floodlights made this one of the most visually spectacular races of the year.

Emilia Romagna Grand Prix

After McLaren’s flying start, Imola was where Max Verstappen reminded the world that he was still the guy to beat. Starting second behind Piastri, he executed a bold overtake around the outside of Tamburello on the opening lap, a move that defined the race. The Dutchman then displayed his trademark control and pace to perfection on a track that punishes even the smallest error.
Behind him, Lando Norris and George Russell fought a fascinating tactical battle for third place, switching positions more than once as differing strategies came into play.
The drama of Imola was in its intensity rather than chaos; it was pure, hard racing on one of Formula 1’s most historic circuits. Verstappen’s victory ended McLaren’s early winning streak and brought Red Bull some much-needed momentum to their season.

Monaco Grand Prix

The Monaco Grand Prix is famous not only for its iconic race, but also for its luxurious in-person casinos - many of which offer games similar to those found on online roulette sites. While it may not always produce intense overtaking that F1 fans love, but in 2025, it provided pure tension from lights to flag.
Lando Norris achieved the perfect weekend, taking pole position and converting it into victory with a performance full of maturity and precision. Every lap through the narrow streets required total concentration, with Max Verstappen close behind for most of the race.
The deciding moment came in the pits, when McLaren’s strategy call to bring Norris in for fresh tyres just before the others reacted allowed him to maintain track position. Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton added to the spectacle with a fierce midfield fight, proving that even in Monaco’s tight confines, there was room for proper racing.
When Norris crossed the finish line, his joy was evident. It was a win earned through patience, not luck, and it cemented his place among the sport’s top drivers.

Singapore Grand Prix

Russell: I knew I had the car beneath me
Singapore once again lived up to its reputation as the ultimate test of endurance and concentration. George Russell produced one of the most complete performances of his career, taking pole and controlling the race despite relentless pressure from Verstappen and Norris.
The humid conditions under the lights added an extra layer of difficulty, but Russell never wavered. A mid-race safety car shuffled strategies, with McLaren opting for fresh tyres while Mercedes stayed out.
The decision proved decisive, as Russell held his ground and managed his tyres with remarkable composure. Verstappen’s late push created a nail-biting finish, but Russell’s win was well deserved. For him, it wasn’t just a triumph of skill, but a reminder that Mercedes remains a force when everything clicks.
