Ferrari teammates Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc spent the final days of Formula 1’s winter break hitting the slopes of snow-covered mountains, combining fitness with some much-needed relaxation.
The 2025 season marks Ferrari’s 75th anniversary in Formula 1, making it a historic year for the Italian team with Hamilton, the sport's most successful driver unites with the world's most popular and famous sporting team.
Both drivers took to the slopes to recharge ahead of the demanding season. Leclerc, a keen skier, shared images of his time on the snow, while Hamilton opted for snowboarding, showcasing his skills on social media. Ferrari amplified the posts, offering fans a glimpse into their drivers’ off-season routines.
Despite the relaxed atmosphere, the focus at Maranello is firmly on the campaign that begins in Melbourne from 14 to 16 March. Speaking at a recent event in Milan, Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna confirmed that Hamilton
will be at Maranello headquarters next week to begin preparations and ahead of testing.

“There is a lot of excitement, a great desire to begin. There is a lot of expectation. We are ready for almost everything. We’ll make sure everything else is in place," said Vigna of Hamilton's arrival.
Leclerc has also been keeping fans updated, sharing clips of his gym sessions alongside his skiing adventures. The Monegasque emphasised the importance of physical preparation as he gears up for the gruelling Formula 1 calendar.
Both drivers are expected to return to Maranello in the coming days to begin development work on Ferrari’s new single-seater. For Hamilton, this marks the beginning of a new chapter in his storied career, as the seven-time world champion becomes the 114th driver to race for Ferrari.
