The 2025 Formula 1 season is over, and the sport enters a deserved period of peace and tranquility following an intense Title battle between Max Verstappen and the McLarens.

We have a lot to be grateful for this Christmas following the 2025 season. We witnessed a dramatic battle between McLaren, who were supposed to wrap things up early but could only achieve that with the Constructors' Championship.
Verstappen, on the other hand, decided it ain't over until the fat lady sings, and along with a rejuvenated Red Bull Racing led by Laurent Mekies, made sure she couldn't sing until the chequered flag in Abu Dhabi.
He may not have liked the song, but he can be satisfied that he did all he could, and there is nothing to be ashamed of, losing the Title to Lando Norris the way he did.
For me, I feel grateful and privileged to be watching Verstappen do his magic. I wasn't lucky enough to follow Ayrton Senna, who had died one year before I started following F1, but watching the Dutchman gave me an idea of how those who were fortunate enough to witness the late Brazilian must have felt.
It is always a good feeling when we finish an F1 season with all the drivers safe, as despite the high safety levels we have today, we should always keep in mind that it should not be taken for granted, as F1 and motorsport in general are dangerous.
We at GrandPrix247 have enjoyed the coverage of this season and have grown with campaign under our belts. We now look forward to 2026 and the new regulations and the kind of story we will take part in next year.
Which leaves me with the utmost appreciation for our readers who make waking up every morning and hitting our desks worth it. We hope that we have delivered to you the independent and in-depth coverage we so aim at offering.
Merry Christmas, everyone!!
