The Alpine Formula 1 Team is gearing up for the 19th round of the 2024 FIA Formula 1 World Championship, as they head to the Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, for the United States Grand Prix.

With only six race weekends remaining, Alpine faces an uphill battle, currently sitting second-to-last in the Constructors' Championship with just 13 points. With wholesale turmoil and drama behind the scenes of the once great French racing organisation now languishing at the wrong end of the F1 grid without an end in sight.
Pierre Gasly, with eight points in the Drivers' Championship and ranked 15th, and Esteban Ocon, holding six points in 18th, are determined to make the most of the final races, starting with the United States Grand Prix this weekend.
In a team press release, both drivers shared their thoughts ahead of the weekend. Esteban Ocon expressed his excitement about returning to Austin, highlighting the atmosphere created by the passionate American fans.
Ocon acknowledged in the alpine COTA weekend preview: "The physical and mental demands of the upcoming triple headers and emphasized his efforts to prepare for the task ahead: "Circuit of The Americas is a challenging but incredible track which always produces some entertaining racing. I have been working hard at the gym and on the simulator with the team at the factory, and our goal will be to maximise every opportunity."

Gasly: There's a lot to play for and we intend to fight

Pierre Gasly echoed Ocon's sentiments about the thrill of racing in Austin and the rise of F1's popularity in the United States, reflecting on his positive experience at last year's event, where he secured seventh in the Sprint and sixth in the Grand Prix: "The track is demanding but has a good flow and can be incredibly rewarding."
Gasly revealed that he has been preparing at Enstone to ensure the team makes a strong start to the Sprint weekend: "There's a lot to play for and we intend to fight for a higher position in the Championship."
With Alpine's recent struggles and behind-the-scene drama, both drivers are hoping to turn the tide in Austin and build momentum for the remaining races. The United States Grand Prix marks the beginning of a crucial phase for the team as they aim to finish the season on a stronger note before their final year with Renault Power in 2025.
For the occasion of the race weekend at COTA, Alpine will sport an orange livery according to the top image released on X by their social media team.
