The Formula 1 World Championship fight resumes this weekend at the Singapore Grand Prix, with McLaren teammates Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris joint favourites to win under the Marina Bay lights.

The battle tightened after Baku, where Piastri crashed in both qualifying and the race, registering a costly DNF that allowed Norris to cut the gap in the standings. At Monza, Verstappen reminded the paddock of his menace by taking a second straight win, signalling Red Bull’s resurgence just as McLaren’s momentum stuttered.
Betfair make both Piastri and Norris 2/1 to win this weekend in Singapore, with Verstappen priced just behind them at 9/4 following his run of consecutive victories.
McLaren need just 13 points to confirm the 2025 F1 Constructors' title in Sunday's race. This means that having one of the squad's drivers on the podium would seal the Championship.
In the 2025 F1 World Drivers’ Championship standings, Piastri remains odds-on at 2/5 despite his setback in Azerbaijan, while Norris is 5/2. Verstappen’s odds have shortened to 13/2 as he hunts a fifth world title.

Norris and Piastri are 2/1 to win this weekend

Other contenders in Singapore include Charles Leclerc at 9/1, George Russell at 20/1, Lewis Hamilton at 25/1, and rookie Kimi Antonelli a longshot at 70/1.
Betfair spokesperson James Mackie highlighted the importance of Singapore in the championship battle: “The Singapore Grand Prix is one of the most demanding races of the F1 calendar and could prove to be pivotal in this season’s title race.
“As 2/5 favourite for the title, Oscar Piastri will be keen to turn around his recent poor form and a close battle is predicted with McLaren teammate Lando Norris – both drivers are 2/1 to win this weekend.
“Red Bull have found pace in recent weeks and Max Verstappen has won consecutive races. He will hope he can continue this purple patch and he is close behind the McLaren duo with odds of 9/4 to win this race and a 13/2 chance of winning a fifth consecutive world title.”
