Formula 1 announced a 10-year extension to the Miami Grand Prix, confirming the event will remain on the calendar through 2041.

The new deal, agreed with promoter South Florida Motorsports, makes Miami the longest contracted race on the F1 schedule.
Since debuting in 2022, the Miami Grand Prix has rapidly become a highlight of the F1 season. The event has drawn global attention with a blend of high-speed racing and off-track entertainment, while generating over US$1 billion in local economic impact across its first three editions.
F1 President and CEO Stefano Domenicali commented: “In just three years, the Miami Grand Prix has established itself as one of the most important and spectacular events on our calendar.
"Extending this agreement until 2041 is a strategic milestone which strengthens our presence in America and consolidates our growing fan base.”
Tom Garfinkel, Managing Partner of the Miami GP, added: “To have been granted this extension after only our third event speaks to what we have felt from the very beginning – the Miami Grand Prix is here to stay,: added Domenicali.
South Florida Motorsports was named 2024 F1 Promoter of the Year, and this year’s race broke attendance and broadcast records, with 275,000 fans visiting the Miami International Autodrome and 3.1 million tuning in on U.S. television.
Lando Norris claimed his maiden F1 victory at the 2024 race, while Abbi Pulling secured a double win in the F1 Academy series.
The 5.41 km circuit, built around Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, features 19 corners and top speeds of up to 320 km/h. Max Verstappen won the first two editions in 2022 and 2023.
