Formula 1’s highly anticipated, and now sold-out, 2025 season launch - F1 75 Live - takes place at The O2 in London on Tuesday, 18 February. Here's what to expect.

F1 75 brings together all 10 teams, their drivers, and team principals for a night of car unveilings and entertainment. The event, set to begin at 20:00 GMT, will see each team reveal their livery for the upcoming season, marking the first time Formula 1 has staged a collective launch of this kind.
The occasion is expected to draw global attention, with broadcasters televising the F1 75 Live as it happens and streaming available via F1’s official social media channels and F1 TV.
One of the most anticipated moments of the evening will be Lewis Hamilton’s official presentation in Ferrari colours. The seven-time world champion’s move from Mercedes to the Scuderia marks one of the biggest driver transfers in F1 history, and fans will see him alongside new team-mate Charles Leclerc as Ferrari unveils its 2025 challenger.
Hamilton has already started integrating into the Maranello-based team through an 'immersion programme,' which has included his first experience behind the wheel of a Ferrari. His appearance at F1 75 Live will offer the first opportunity to hear his thoughts on the switch just weeks before pre-season testing.

Rookies and New Line-Ups in the Spotlight

F1 75 Live will also serve as the official introduction for several new faces on the 2025 grid, with five rookies making their debuts this season. Kimi Antonelli steps up to Mercedes to replace Hamilton, while his former F2 team-mate Oliver Bearman joins Haas on a full-time basis after substitute outings in 2024.
Reigning Formula 2 champion Gabriel Bortoleto will drive for Kick Sauber, Isack Hadjar makes his F1 debut with Racing Bulls, and Jack Doohan completes Alpine’s line-up after serving as a reserve driver. Meanwhile, Liam Lawson moves up to Red Bull alongside Max Verstappen, replacing Sergio Perez in what is expected to be one of the most scrutinised partnerships of the season.
Elsewhere, Carlos Sainz embarks on a new chapter at Williams alongside Alex Albon, with team boss James Vowles describing the pairing as “the best on the grid”. Esteban Ocon, meanwhile, moves to Haas to replace Nico Hülkenberg, who has taken Sainz’s former seat at Kick Sauber.
F1 75 Live will provide the first look at each team’s colours for the new campaign. Mercedes boss Toto Wolff has hinted at the team retaining its black livery, while Alpine has experimented with pink in recent years, and Kick Sauber’s switch to a green and black design in 2024 stood out among last season’s reveals.

Will Liveries Spring a Surprise?

Teams have occasionally introduced surprise elements to their liveries at launch events, and with all 10 squads presenting their designs in one place, F1 75 Live is expected to showcase a variety of bold new looks.
Alongside the car reveals, F1 75 Live will feature special guest presenters and additional entertainment. The event is being produced by Brian Burke and Stufish Entertainment Architects, the creative team behind the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix.
The 15,000 tickets for F1 75 Live are now sold out and the event's official ticket partner AXS has disabled online sales. Fans will still be able to watch live streamed for free on F1’s social media channels, including YouTube.
Formula 1 pre-season testing will take place at the Bahrain International Circuit from 26 to 28 February 2025, providing teams with three days to fine-tune their cars ahead of the new season. The 2025 F1 season then officially begins with the season-opening Australian Grand Prix weekend at Albert Park in Melbourne on 14-16 March.
