Red Bull’s Formula 1 consultant Dr. Helmut Marko would not be drawn into making a statement regarding the reports that Christian Horner is being investigated for inappropriate behavior.

It was revealed on Monday that Red Bull have launched an internal investigation regarding allegations that the team boss of their Red Bull Racing F1 team, Christian Horner, has inappropriately behaved towards another team member.

The news comes just days after he F1 world was shaken by the news that seven-time F1 Champion Lewis Hamilton would be leaving Mercedes in 2025 to race for Ferrari.

Horner, who have been the boss of Red Bull Racing since the team was formed back in 2005 when Red Bull’s late founder Dietrich Mateschitz bought the Jaguar F1 operation.

Under Horner’s watch, Red Bull won six F1 Constructors’ Titles and seven Drivers’ Crowns between 2010 and 2023 with Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen.

Horner has since denied the allegations with his job now hanging in the balance until the results of the investigations, which Red Bull have outsourced to a barrister, are revealed.

Helmut Marko however refused to comment on the matter, and when quizzed by Motorsport Total about the subject simply responded: “I’m not saying anything about it.”

The Horner news comes in the worst time possible for Red Bull who are gearing up to defend their F1 Title in 2024, their RB20, the car for the new season set to be revealed on February 15.
