Williams have joined teams announcing their car launch dates for the 2023 Formula 1 season, as well as McLaren, as four teams are yet to set their 2023 car reveal dates.
As things stand, Williams will be the first team to hold what they called the "Williams Racing 2023 season launch", where their 2023 F1 car, supposedly the FW45, will be introduced and that is on February 6, 2023.
Unless any other team sets an earlier date for car launch, we can safely say that the 2023 F1 season will be kicked off on February 6.
Williams will be fielding a revised driver lineup, with Canadian Nicholas Latifi making way for American Logan Sargeant who will be making his F1 debut in 2023 for the Grove-based outfit. The other seat will still be occupied by Alex Albon.
That is not the only change at Williams as back in December, the team announced the departure of Team Principal Jost Capito, as well as that of Technical Director Francois-Xavier Demaison, with the team yet announcing their replacements.
The team finished the 2022 season dead last, tenth in the Constructors' Championship.
McLaren to launch 2023 car on February 13th
McLaren on the other hand announced February 13th as the launch date for their 2023 F1 car, presumably the MCL37, and will be sharing that launch date with Aston Martin.
McLaren also will be entering the 2023 F1 season with considerable changes, as Oscar Piastri replaces Daniel Ricciardo alongside Lando Norris on the drivers' front.
On the management front, however, the team also announced the departure of Team Principal Andreas Seidl to Sauber and was replaced by Andrea Stella, promoted from within the team.
McLaren lost the battel with Alpine for fourth in the 2022 Constructors' Standings and were only good for fifth.
