Formula 1 drivers mostly try to keep their personal lives hidden from the public eye. However, it's quite challenging to keep a relationship with the daughter of a well-known racing driver a secret.

In 2021, Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen officially announced his relationship with Kelly Piquet, but there was no question about who she was. Months before that, she had ended things with another driver from the same team. With that kind of luck, it would be worth becoming a client of casino Mostbet.

A Successful Transfer

Daniil Kvyat (Toro Rosso): Brazil is home race
In 2016, things were not going well for Russian driver Daniil Kvyat in Formula 1. After just four Grand Prix races that season, he was replaced by 18-year-old Max Verstappen from Toro Rosso. Kvyat, the unlucky driver, was sent back to the junior team, and the following year, he was let go due to poor results and conflicts.
However, that season, Kvyat found support in Kelly Piquet, the daughter of legendary racing driver Nelson Piquet. Their romance blossomed quickly, with Kelly becoming a regular guest of his Formula 1 team, and their adorable photos delighted fans.
Whether due to the legendary father's backing or other reasons, Kvyat returned to Toro Rosso in 2019. After the first race of the season, Kelly announced her pregnancy. On the day their daughter, Peneloppa Kvyat, was born, the driver managed to secure his sole podium finish of the season at the German Grand Prix.
At this point, their joyful story could have concluded with a wedding, but it seems Kelly's eyes were not only on her boyfriend from the Formula 1 stand.
Shortly after giving birth, Kelly declared her separation from the Russian driver in a post with a cryptic caption: "Roses are red, violets are blue, take out the trash, just like you."
Afterwards, she actively posted photos on social media with other men, sparking severe backlash from Kvyat's supporters. A few months later, in January 2021, she shared a photo of her and Max Verstappen together, confirming their relationship.

The Brazilian Clan

Pedro Piquet and Nelson Piquet
Kelly Piquet is the daughter of three-time Formula 1 champion Nelson Piquet and Dutch model Sylvia Tamsma. Her father's biography could fill a book: success on the tracks, three marriages, seven children, and even a ban from the Formula 1 paddock (but more on that later).
Kelly's unique appearance, a blend of Brazilian and Dutch roots, led her to start modelling at 14. However, racing was also in her blood. Her two brothers also became race car drivers, so entering the racing world was inevitable. Nelson Piquet Jr., in 2008-2009, competed in the Renault Formula series but left after a scandal involving a deliberate crash at the Singapore Grand Prix.
Her stepbrother, Pedro Piquet, also tried to break into the racing elite but failed miserably in Formula 2 two years ago. Of the siblings, Nelson proved most successful, winning the Formula E championship in 2015, while Kelly worked as a regular blogger during the same period.
Kelly earned a degree in international relations, speaks four languages, and has worked as a stylist's assistant for Vogue and a community relations specialist. However, when you're the girlfriend of a Formula 1 champion, even that won't prevent scandals. Besides their nine-year age gap, Kelly herself stoked the fiery discussions.

Conflict with Hamilton

Kelly Piquet's reputation in the Formula 1 paddock, to put it mildly, is far from sterling. Due to her transfers between drivers, fans often accuse her of showing interest in every new young and ambitious driver. In an interview, she discussed the difficulties in handling the massive social media backlash but has been spotted engaging in similar actions herself.
The 2021 season was marked by an intense battle between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton. The championship passions boiled over during every Grand Prix, including one at Silverstone where both drivers collided on the first lap. Max went off track and was hospitalized (without serious injury), while Lewis had better luck, winning that race.
Debates about who was at fault for the crash still rage, but many were provoked by a post from Verstappen's girlfriend. Kelly blamed Hamilton for causing the accident and criticized his victory celebration: "Call it what you want – a mistake, a racing incident (even if it was clearly Lewis's fault), but celebrating the victory the way he did was disrespectful. Let's not even mention the penalty."
