Formula 1 long ago dispensed of big budget car launches, this year will be no different and in fact, the 'new' cars shown on reveal dates are likely to be paint jobs on last year's cars, as keeping their 2019 challengers secret until the last moment will be a high priority for teams.
New rules for this year include big changes to the front wing and other aero areas, keeping these under wraps are obviously the goal for teams who begin testing their new cars in Barcelona on 19 February.
Mercedes are expected to conduct an online reveal before wheeling out their cars to the media in Barcelona on the first day of the test in Spain, with Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas on hand to lift the covers.
Ferrari have yet to reveal what their Project 670 will end up being called - last year's car was designated SF71H - but on 15 February the Italian team will present their new car and new driver Charles Leclerc, who joins four-time F1 World Champion Sebastian Vettel in the fabled team.
The one to watch is the launch of Racing Point who are likely to have new sponsors, new livery, new team name and new car designation for drivers Sergio Perez and Lance Stroll.
But by all accounts, the team that has risen from the ashes of Force India will not present their 2019 car when it breaks cover in Montreal on 13 February, but rather a liveried version of last years VJM11.
Red Bull will uncover the Honda-powered, Adrian Newey penned RB14 for the first time, kick-starting a new era for the team who welcome Pierre Gasly to the garage alongside Max Verstappen.
Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi represent an all-new driver line-up for Sauber who are set to unveil their car on the morning of the first day of the first pre-season test in Barcelona, expect a host of new sponsors thanks to the 'Iceman' effect.
Haas should will also cause a stir with their cars, for Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen, which are expected to be black and gold of new title sponsor Rich Energy.
Another team with an all-new driver line-up is Williams with Robert Kubica, returning to the grid after a near decade lay-off, and rookie George Russell stepping up to Formula 1 with the once mighty Grove outfit. With Martini gone, PKN Orlen are likely to have a branding presence on the car.
Another floored Goliath, McLaren, are also fielding an all-new driver combo, with Carlos Sainz and rookie Lando Norris set to pull the sheets back on the MCL34 on Valentine's day - the second Renault powered creation to roll out of the MTC.
Extravagant Formula 1 car launches of old are frowned upon these days. Even a suggestion by Liberty Media to conduct a launch event for teams to unveil their cars collectively was rejected despite the fact that the concept could attract massive attention ahead of the new season.
But teams are not keen to 'share' the secrets of their new creations with rival teams in a public event format so soon before testing begins, much preferring the controlled environment of bespoke 'events' which each team has planned, albeit all very low key and secrets well hidden from prying eyes.
In other words, don't expect much from the forthcoming car launches in terms of novelty or wow factor, but rather look forward to the nine hours of live testing we will be getting daily, to get a glimpse of exactly Formula 1 has in store for us in 2019. Roll on Tuesday, 18 February!
