Red Bull driver Max Verstappen and McLaren rookie Lando Norris will share a BMW Z4 at the Bathurst 12 Hours... the virtual version of the race organised by the iRacing sim racing service.
The current generation of young Formula drivers are all sim racers with full rigs in their homes where they spend their time-off racing in the virtual world. Verstappen's antics
online even capturing headlines at one point.
As part of Team Redline, Verstappen and Norris will share a car with team boss Atze Kerkhof and BMW works driver Nicky Catsburg.
The second Redline car will be spearheaded by tin-top ace Shane Van Gisbergen along with Ben Cornett, Justin Ruggier and McLaren's gamer turned sim driver Rudy Van Buren.
