Ferrari team boss Fred Vasseur revealed that the upgrade the team are planning for their SF-24 for the US Grand Prix in Austin will be the last in the 2024 Formula 1 season.

Ferrari have brought a major upgrade for their car in the Spanish Grand Prix, but as it turned out, the new parts made their SF-24 bounce, especially in the high-speed corners.
That made it difficult for Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz to drive their cars with confidence, and Ferrari had to revert to older spec floors until they found a solution for the bouncing.
Recently, Ferrari seemed to have improved the situation with the car, and their senior performance engineer, Jock Clear, has recently explained the challenges the team and their rivals as well are faced with whenever they bring a new upgrade to make sure it works or at least doesn't backfire.
As Ferrari seem to have overcome their latest troubles, they are now bringing a new upgrade to the upcoming F1 race in Austin, but Vasseur claimed the team will shift their focus to 2025 after that.
Speaking to Motorsport.com over the Singapore Grand Prix weekend, the Frenchman said: "We all know that we already started the development of the next car.
"We try to do our best to have small upgrades at the next one [race]. I think it will be probably the last one for everybody; that will be true for us, but it will be true for the other teams.
"Now it's so tight overall in the last four or five, six races; if you have a look on the grid, it may get tight, and every single bit can make a difference," Vasseur concluded.
Ferrari are currently third in the 2024 F1 constructors' championship with 441 points, 34 points behind Red Bull Racing, who are second. McLaren lead the standings with 516 points.
