Carlos Sainz is hoping for more during the second half of his first season with Ferrari, despite making a strong start to life in red.
The Spaniard sits sixth in the drivers' championship after 11 races, having picked up two podium finishes in the process.
However, ever the competitor, Sainz is not yet fully satisfied, arguing that he is yet to put a perfect weekend together from start to finish since his arrival.
“I am happy with the way that I am integrating in the team and the first half of the season,” he said. “I'm very happy, particularly with the speed I've had with the car and since race one I felt like I was on top of the car and I was able to push it to the limit and be on the pace straight away in pretty much every circuit I've been to.
“It doesn't feel like my strongest season is F1 definitely, I feel like there's a lot of points, a lot of missed opportunities here and there, I think I said that before this race that I feel like I haven't maximised a weekend, yet as a Ferrari driver I haven't put a whole weekend together," Sainz concluded.
Formula 1 returns to action at the Belgian Grand Prix at the end of this month, with the teams and drivers currently enjoying the three-week summer break.
