The Honda-powered Red Bull RB15, penned by design guru Adrian Newey and his crew, is arguably the most anticipated car of 2019, the weapon Max Verstappen and Pierre Gasly will use in this year's Formula 1 World Championship.
The 15th F1 car produced by the energy drinks outfit, who have previously been powered by Cosworth, Ferrari and Renault, is the first with Honda power and marks a new era for the team.
The car broke cover with a striking blue car with red branding in matt finish, which is the livery they will use during the eight days of testing, with the 2019 livery set to be revealed closer to the season-opening Australian Grand Prix weekend.
The RB15 represents a huge gamble, a great chassis it is expected as Newey creations tend to be, but the wager is whether ditching Renault for Honda was the wise call. Only time will tell...
The team announced: "The Aston Martin Red Bull Racing RB15 has been unleashed. Donning a one-off livery, the RB15 drives the team into a new era thanks to the arrival of Honda power and an exciting new driver pairing."
"Driven for the first time by Max Verstappen and eagerly watched by Pierre Gasly, the RB15 breaks cover today at the team’s official filming day at Silverstone Circuit."
