Red Bull Technical Director Pierre Wache hailed the work ethic of the team's Chief Technical Officer Adrian Newey, revealing the Formula 1 tech guru always challenges the system to find the best solutions.

Adrian Newey has been credited for designing the best cars in F1 history as the Red Bull RB19 is on its way to become the 14th Championship winning car the Briton has designed, as Red Bull are close to securing their sixth F1 Title double (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2022 already bagged) with Newey-designed machinery.
The respected engineer has been the target of many teams trying to secure his services, despite his own admission that his career is realistically on a countdown, but Red Bull have been successful in keeping him within their roster so far, as he seems to be thriving within the Milton Keynes organization.
Wache, also a target for Ferrari recently, has explained how the system at Red Bull and the way Newey works ensure the team is successful.
Quoted by Motorsport.com, he said: "The structure is done to have people we trust in the system, either at the track or at the factory, and to be able to develop the work in the way we want to.
"Adrian, he's going to each area where he wants to be able to interact with everybody and will challenge the system," he added. "It's a chance for him to be able to go into small details in some areas, and then bigger pictures in others.
"When you do your job, and you have somebody at the side you know well, if you take that step back it can be a massive benefit.
"The intention of everybody in the team is to make the car quicker, but the way that everybody is doing it will be different. So I think the balance we have is quite goo," Wache concluded.
Newey's latest creation, the RB19 has won every grand prix in 2023 (ten for Max Verstappen, two for Sergio Perez), every Sprint Race (two for Verstappen, one for Perez), and has been on pole nine times (seven for Verstappen, two for Perez).
Red Bull lead the 2023 F1 Constructors' Championship by 256 points from Mercedes, while Verstappen leads Drivers' Championship with Perez 125 points behind in second.
