Daniel Ricciardo, Max Verstappen and David Coulthard thrilled a large crowd with a Red Bull F1 demo event during the Jumbo Racedagen event held at Zandvoort on Sunday.
The three drivers took the dust covers of Red Bull's RB7 and RB8 cars and blitzed around the seaside circuit, before Ricciardo and Verstappen were let loose in caravan towing Aston Martins!
"It is again great," says Max. "Once more, there is a large crowd, which is always beautiful and special. It is fantastic when you can drive with three Formula 1 cars. Something like that does not happen often and that makes it extra fun for me of course."
"When asked about the importance of the Jumbo Racing Days for the Netherlands, Max answers:" There is no Grand Prix in the Netherlands, so you try to get as close to the fans as possible. It’s nice to see this many people."
Ricciardo added, "Giving demonstrations is fun. You do not experience any pressure and stress and the fans can get very close. We can push the car a lot without having to worry about it."
When asked if he will lay down some rubber, the Australian replied with a resolute: "Absolutely!"
