Of the 24 races on the 2024 Formula 1 schedule, there are 10 left. We’re currently in the midst of a nearly month-long break between the Belgian Grand Prix and the Dutch Grand Prix.

While F1 teams have a month to prepare for the stretch run of the season, fans have time to get excited about what’s left. Therefore, we decided to put together a ranking of the most exciting races left in 2024 to give F1 fans a preview of what the season still has left to offer.

10. Qatar Grand Prix, December 1

The good news with the Qatar Grand Prix is that it still has time to grow and build more of a following. With the race taking place in December, the heat shouldn’t be as much of an issue this year as it’s been in the past. Hopefully, that leads to a good race in the Middle East because the appeal of the Qatar Grand Prix is lacking compared to some other late-season races.

9. Mexico City Grand Prix, October 27

The popularity of Sergio Perez is bound to attract a large crowd in Mexico City. He’s the biggest reason why the F1 circuit started coming back to Mexico City in 2025. Unfortunately, the track isn’t anywhere close to being among the best. Considering some of the other races on the horizon, the anticipation around the Mexico City Grand Prix isn’t particularly high.

8. Dutch Grand Prix, August 25

Oddly enough, the next race on the schedule might be one of the least compelling. Max Verstappen is once again dominating the F1 circuit, so does anyone expect him not to win in his home country? The good news is the venue is nice and close to the beach. However, there might not be much drama around the race with Verstappen continues to have the home-track advantage. However, the fact that there is nearly a month to wait before this race should generate some excitement.

7. Singapore Grand Prix, September 22

The Singapore Grand Prix has to be one of the most underrated races on the F1 schedule. It features one of the most challenging tracks that tends to level the playing field, meaning even the top racers aren’t guaranteed to do well in Singapore. The intense heat adds another challenge for drivers to deal with in Singapore. While it might be tough to predict who wins this race, that’s exactly what fans want to see.

6. Azerbaijan Grand Prix, September 15

Fans not familiar with F1 may not think a city like Baku has a top-notch track, but it does. The track is a unique mixture between long straights and incredibly tight turns. The close walls and tight corners are a challenge for any driver while the long straights open the door for passing opportunities. This twisty and turny race has seen some surprising results in recent years, which is why fans will want to keep close tabs on this year’s Azerbaijan Grand Prix until the end.

5. Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, December 8

The fact that this is the final race of the season gives the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix instant credibility. That wouldn’t be the case if Abu Dhabi didn’t have a great track that would set up a compelling race. With any luck, the title race will come down to the final race on the schedule. If not, the scenery surrounding the venue is mesmerizing while the track itself should help to create a tight race with a close finish, meaning the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix checks a lot of boxes.

4. Italian Grand Prix, September 1

With a track known as the Temple of Speed, the Italian Grand Prix is always among the best races of the season. Traditionally, this is a race that sees several lead changes throughout because of the way the course is designed. The crowd in Italy is also one of the loudest and most supportive of any F1 venue. Of course, they tend to be rather biased toward the Ferrari team, which could help one of the drivers on that team pull off an upset over Verstappen.

3. Las Vegas Grand Prix, November 23

Despite last year being the first Las Vegas Grand Prix, fans are already looking forward to the second edition. Despite less than ideal weather and a slick track, the race last year was amazing. Any skepticism there was about F1 going to Las Vegas was quickly squashed. On top of the race itself, the crowd and the atmosphere didn’t disappoint, nor did the trip to Las Vegas for most fans because there is far more to enjoy than just the race.
That being said, this is a good reminder that you don’t have to be in Las Vegas to bet on F1 races or any other sport. A plethora of online sportsbooks operate all over the world with many offering new and returning users sports betting bonuses that can be used on the next F1 race or any other sporting event.

2. United States Grand Prix, October 20

The Circuit of the Americas almost always produces a memorable race. From the very first lap, things are usually hotly contested, setting the stage for an unpredictable day at the track. This is largely due to a track that’s taken the best parts of other tracks and used them in a single, endlessly challenging track. It doesn’t hurt that the crowd is always massive and into the race for every lap. It’s tough to find a better atmosphere or a more enthusiastic crowd at any F1 race, which is why all fans have this race circled as we approach the end of the season.

1. Sao Paulo Grand Prix, November 3

Brazil is home to one of the most loved race tracks in all of F1. The Sao Paulo Grand Prix has a long and storied history of exciting races and close finishes. Plus, fans can never be sure if the weather is going to play a role in things. Sao Paulo is also one of the great cities for fans to visit, as the area outside of the track is practically a 24/7 carnival. Given the date of this year’s race toward the end of the season, the Sao Paulo Grand Prix might be the most anticipated race of the year.
