Sergio Perez delivered a Red Bull Showrun in front of 130,000 of his home fans in the streets of Guadalajara, his hometown, on what he dubbed a special day.

Perez was at the wheel of Red Bull's RB7, the team 2011 Title winning V8-powered car, just one week after the Mexican won the Formula 1 Constructors' Title with his team at the 2022 United Stated Grand Prix.
The Red Bull driver performed donuts and burnouts for his home fans around a 2.9km track alongside Avenida Vallarta, with the La Minerva monument as a backdrop of the event.
Perez said after the event: "It has been a dream come true for me today, so thank you to everyone for making it happen. It has been such a special day for myself and I hope it remains in the heart of the people of Guadalajara forever.
"A lot of people who are here have been here since last night camping and I know that most of these people will never get the opportunity to go to a Grand Prix, so to be able to bring Formula 1 to them is super special to me," he added.
"To come home after winning the Constructors' Title on Sunday makes it more significant to me too," Perez revealed. "It has been an incredible season for the whole Team and things in our sport happen so fast, which means we are already focussing on trying to win this Sunday, I will give one hundred percent to win for these fans in Mexico.
"This has been one of the most special days of my career and I would like another moment this weekend," Perez maintained.

My aim is to win my home grand prix

Perez later previewed the upcoming Mexican Grand Prix; he said: "To come home after winning the Constructors' Title on Sunday makes this week feel bigger and more exciting than ever.
"Things in our sport happen so fast, as soon as Sunday was over, we were already focussing on trying to win this weekend. But it has already been such a special week for me taking the Red Bull Showrun to my hometown, it's a memory that will live with me forever.
"I don't want to stop there with creating moments this week though, my aim is to win my home Grand Prix and I know I have the car and the Team to do it.
"It has been an incredible season for the whole Team and, I will give one hundred percent to win for these fans in Mexico," the four-time race winner concluded.
Double F1 Champion Max Verstappen, who won the race in Austin last week added: "I'm looking forward to going back to Mexico, I love the food there, especially the tacos! We've always seemed to do quite well as a team in Mexico.
"It was of course incredible to win there last year and we are hoping for very much the same performance this year," he added. "It's always good to see all the Red Bull fans in the grandstands, they are so passionate and there's always a lot of support for Checo which is great to see.
"We've secured the Constructors' and Drivers' Championships but we are still here to win, we will keep pushing and do everything we can to remain competitive for the rest of the season," the Dutchman concluded.
