I opened an email from IBP Media, announcing a new work by Paul Oz, whose paintings I admired, but today he really disgusted me beyond control. I am seething!
When I opened the email to see Oz's latest sculpture of Michael Schumacher straddling a goat! Horrific to the point that my jaw dropped, can't be April Fool's surely. WTF is this monstrosity of an insult to one of Formula 1's greatest heroes and a salute to animal abuse.
No one rides a goat. Least of all Michael Schumacher, our voiceless King who would belch at such folly of turning The Greatest Of All Time, which abbreviates to: T.G.O.A.T. which has been popularised into 'GOAT' but apart from silly memes and bar room jokes, has nothing at all to do with the animal.
Immediately I fired off this email in response to their ill-thought-out peddling of 'art' at the expense of our F1 icons in this manner:
I cannot believe the Schumacher Family are allowing this travesty to happen!
Michael on a little goat! FFS! Is it just me or is this world gone crazy?
Anyone connected to Michael Schumacher must be seething, more so than me, at this abuse of Michael's glorious image in this manner. Would HE condone it? How can they? Corinna? Mick? Gina-Maria? Ralf? Elisabeth? Ferrari? Marlboro? F1? FIA? Germany? I repeat, how can they condone this? Please do something ASAP!
I am so disgusted with the insensitivity, disrespect and stupidity of Paul Oz and anyone involved in this putrid project, who thought this was a good idea. Seriously folks! Is it only about money? All of you connected to this hang your heads in shame, blaspheming our F1 by dishonouring one of its greatest of all time.
This piece of sh!t should be blocked from being made public, it should be destroyed wherever it is displayed, preferably before it is even displayed. Don't care how, it should be done!
And Paul Oz, no one rides a goat, they are fragile and agile animals, you f@cking numpty.
