Number 10 for Kobayashi and Ericsson picks number 9

Caterham's new signings Kamui Kobayashi and rookie Marcus Ericsson have chosen number 10 and number 9 respectively for the rest of their Formula 1 career's.

The last two drivers to be confirmed for 2014 revealed their numbers shortly after the announcement by Caterham, but their choices still have to be ratified by the FIA.

Kobayashi opted for number 10, which was the number he carried when he made his debut for Toyota F1 team in 2009, although he admitted that number four was his first choice, but that number is already reserved for Marussia's Max Chilton. (GP247)
