Welcome to Episode 10 of NewsDeskUnplugged with Paul& Jad! Visa Cash App RB Formula One Team (formerly known as AlphaTauri aka Toro Rosso) will be Red Bull's second team on the grid for the 2024 Formula 1 Season.

Topping the list of the most ridiculously long and jaw-breaking names for a modern F1 team, Red Bull’s B-Team has reinvented itself for the 2024 F1 season.
Justifying the name change, Peter Bayer, CEO of the newly named VCARB Formula One Team said: “It’s fantastic to reveal the new identity and to welcome new partners as we embark on the next phase of the team’s Formula 1 story.
"Faenza is entering a new era of racing, staying true to our roots as a hothouse for talent but now with an even greater focus on competing for the biggest prizes in F1. We have a bold vision for the team led by myself and Team Principal, Laurent Mekies and having future-focused partners such as Visa and Cash App alongside us on that journey is hugely exciting," concluded Bayer.
In this latest episode of , Paul Velasco & Jad Mallak discuss the new name and how to refer to the team in future.
Jad reckons: "It's all about the money. It's all about sponsorship, and linking the sport with the big names like Visa. This is Visa's first serious venture in motorsports in 15 years when they also did this kind of huge sponsorship. The interesting thing is that the deal is not only with Toro Rosso, aka AlphaTauri, or whatever you want to name it.
"It's also with the mother team, Red Bull Racing. So Visa is going to be sponsoring them as well. So the decision has been taken somewhere at Red Bull corporate level at Red Bull I don't think it's been taken at the racing team level," is Jad's take.
Paul adds: "VCARB! It's ridiculous. And I'm gonna say that Red Bull, is an incredible marketing company I mean incredible what they've done for extreme sports, F1 and their brand is unbelievable. But this bombed. The person who had this idea, I don't care they may be: Please, you're not for marketing. Go do something else, go run the canteen."
Of course, our editorial duo have a lot more to say in the above episode dedicated to VCARB!
