The opening day of pre-season testing at the Bahrain International Circuit got underway today with Jules Bianchi at the wheel of the MR03.
He was limited to three installation laps during the course of the day, with the car mostly confined to the garage due to an IT configuration problem.
With the team now on top of the issue, Max Chilton will take over the car on Thursday, when the aim is to get back on course with the run plan, which includes further exploration of the car’s systems, along with an aerodynamic testing programme.
