Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko has said that the team will worry about Mercedes' DAS system "later", following speculation they could submit a protest to the FIA.
Mercedes unveiled the dual axis steering or DAS system during pre-season testing, causing plenty of commotion in the paddock and leading to it being banned from 2021.
However, there have also been reports that protests could begin as early as free practice in Austria on Friday.
"We'll worry about that later," Marko said when questioned about Red Bull's response to DAS.
"Now we want to organise this Grand Prix safely and well first."
According to
The overall benefit of DAS in terms of lap time is not known and it remains to be seen how often Mercedes will look to utilise it during the first weekend of the season at the Red Bull Ring.
Mercedes and Red Bull were the two leading teams in pre-season testing and go into the opening race as the favourites for the win and the world title.
