Ferrari announced that Riccardo Adami will no longer be race engineering Lewis Hamilton from the 2026 Formula 1 season onwards without announcing his replacement.

Ferrari seem to be doing all they can to make Hamilton feel comfortable with the team after a disappointing maiden season in 2025.
It was clear over the course of last season that the relationship between Hamilton and Adami was not working, which was clear from tense radio messages between the two.
While both Ferrari and Hamilton tried to play down any tension, there could be no escape from the fact that it was not working, and the decision was taken on Friday.
Ferrari said in a statement: “Scuderia Ferrari HP announces that Riccardo Adami has moved to a new role within the Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy as Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy and Test Previous Cars Manager, where his extensive trackside experience and Formula 1 expertise contributes to the development of future talent and to strengthening performance culture across the program.
“Scuderia Ferrari HP would like to thank Riccardo for his commitment and contribution to his trackside role and wishes him every success in his new position.
“The appointment of the new Race Engineer for car #44 will be announced in due course," the statement concluded.
Adami boasts long F1 experience, having started with Minardi back in the 2000s and remained with them when they became Toro Rosso, where he worked with four-time F1 Champion Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo.
He rejoined Vettel at Ferrari in 2015 and went on to work with Carlos Sainz and Hamilton.
Hamilton, on the other hand, suffered from an ignominious first season with Ferrari as he struggled to get his head around the undeveloped SF-25.
He failed to reach the podium, let alone win a race, while his Sprint win in China remains as his season's highlight and a fake dawn, to be honest.
