Charles Leclerc will turn down any offer to leave Ferrari until he has achieved his goal of winning a world championship, the Monegasque driver told Italian publication il Giornale.
Leclerc is now in third season with the team, but has not won a Grand Prix since his maiden campaign due to the Scuderia's struggles.
They do appear to have made a step forward in 2021, with Leclerc opening the season with sixth and fourth place finishes respectively, but remain an outsider to pick up race victories against the likes of Red Bull and Mercedes.
Asked whether he would consider leaving Ferrari for double the money he is currently being paid, Leclerc replied: "No, because Ferrari is special. Money is important, but I believe in the project and I want to go all the way with the team I dreamed of as a child.
"I want to try and when I have something in mind I want to go through with it. There are no offers that hold: I feel great here and I want to reach the goal I have set myself and I will not leave until I have achieved it."
Asked what Ferrari can hope to achieve this season, Leclerc admitted they would need improve significantly to claim a win and were instead targeting third-place in the constructors' championship.
"To win we still have to take a big step," he said.
"We have also come a lot closer, but there is still a lot of difference from Mercedes and Red Bull. And I don't think we will have the potential to win. In some tracks we will be closer, but I don't think enough. The goal for now is to stay ahead of McLaren."
