Red Bull is the next team in line to launch their 2022 Formula 1 car, with team boss Christian Horner claiming that the RB18's schedule is tight but will be met.

Red Bull will be the first of the F1 heavyweights to reveal their 2022 racing machine, the RB18, and speaking ahead of the reveal, team principal Christian Horner gave RacingNews365.com some insights on the team's progress with the new car, especially with Adrian Newey, the team Chief Technical Officer being known for pushing the time limits with the design process.
"We'll probably [still] do a shakedown before we go to the first test; it's tight, but it's on schedule," Horner began, before stressing the importance of the only two pre-season tests allowed: "Obviously, with only six days of testing, you want to maximise every day.
"Barcelona will be primarily focused on learning about the RB18, getting long runs in, doing the durability stuff, understanding the characteristics, the vehicle dynamics..." he explained.

Don't expect many details in the launch though

Although Red Bull will be launching the 2022 F1 car, they will however try to hid as many details as possible before the car hits the track, so as to not give their rivals any design inspirations.
"I think all launches are reasonably heavily photoshopped," Horner claimed. "Particularly with a new set of regulations, teams are keen to protect their IP, so of course, you're trying to give away as little as you can.
"You'll never see a diffuser or anything like that, and profiles of wings are perhaps slightly different, but that's become the norm in Formula 1 now.
"This is more of a curtain-raiser for the season and it'll really be the Bahrain test that you're probably getting close to seeing cars in their race spec.
"[The RB18 launch is] primarily focused on delivering the aspirations of the team for the season ahead."
With their launch getting closer, Red Bull teaser their new car with another video on social media. The RB18 will be revealed on February 9, 5pm CET.
