Haas and Ferrari have elected to continue their long-standing engine partnership through till the end of 2028.

The two Formula 1 teams have worked together ever since Haas' debut season in 2016, with Ferrari supplying their power units to the American outfit. Haas have attained a pole position and two fastest laps in the 178 Grands Prix entered with a Ferrari engine.
With the newly penned deal lasting until the conclusion of the 2028 Formula One World Championship, Haas have secured a power unit for the upcoming regulation changes scheduled for 2026. Along with a host of aerodynamic changes, the 2026 campaign will see a 50/50 power split between internal combustion and electric motors.
The renewed partnership brings stability to a Haas team undergoing numerous changes. Chief engineer Ayao Komatsu took over as Team Principal of the Kannapolis-based team from Guenther Steiner ahead of the 2024 season, and it appears as though the squad will have an all-new driver lineup for 2025.
F2 starlet Oliver Bearman will replace Hulkenberg, who moves to Sauber Motorsport in 2025. Magnussen's tenure at Haas also looks to be coming to an end, with current Alpine driver Esteban Ocon in prime position to take over the Dane's seat.
Nevertheless Haas are enjoying a recent upturn in results, as Hulkenberg has achieved two P6 finishes in a row at the Austrian and British Grand Prix. Currently seventh in the Constructors' Championship, the team is looking to challenge rivals RB and Aston Martin for fifth in the Standings.

Relationship with Ferrari has always been special

Haas F1 Team and Scuderia Ferrari extend partnership
Speaking about the partnership in a press release by Haas, Team Principal Komatsu said: I’m thrilled to extend our relationship with Scuderia Ferrari until 2028. As an organization we’ve only ever raced with Ferrari power units and to have that continued stability moving into the next set of power unit regulations is a key part of our on-going development.
"The relationship with Scuderia Ferrari has always been a special one to us – they were instrumental in the genesis of the program back in the early days and have continued to be a valuable technical partner to us throughout the past nine seasons," added the Haas boss.
The Japanese engineer extended his thanks to Ferrari for believing in the team's development and direction, stating: "I’m delighted we now have more seasons ahead and my thanks go to Fred Vasseur and many others at Scuderia Ferrari for continuing to show faith in our project.
"This announcement is just another example of the long-term ambition of MoneyGram Haas F1 Team – our investment and growth in the sport continues."
Haas will have another opportunity to score valuable points at the Hungarian Grand Prix, commencing Sunday 21 July at 14:00 BST (15:00 local time).
